Jordan Steward

Jordan Steward is the director of the Adult Golf Performance program at Par4success.  He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) who earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Appalachian State University. Prior to his time at Par4success, Jordan worked in the corporate health and fitness sector as the Senior Health Fitness Specialist of a major global corporation. As Sr. HFS, Jordan gained nearly six years of experience helping individuals move and feel better with high-level programs and coaching.
 
A native of NC, Jordan is an avid golfer who learned the game at the age of 9, along with his father. A dream come true, Jordan is ecstatic to merge his two biggest passions of golf and strength and conditioning to help athletes move well and pain free.
Bobby Prengle

Bobby is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, who received his degree from nearby Duke University. He grew up in Texas, spending the first 22 years of his life in the Lone Star State, where he received his B.A. in Kinesiology and Psychology from Rice University. After graduating from PT school, he spent a year in Jacksonville, FL at the Brooks Institute of Higher Learning in a year-long residency program to specialize in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and is also Titleist Performance Institute Certified.

She brings tremendous energy and enthusiasm to the lesson tee and a wealth of competitive playing experience.  Kathy played on the first NC State Women’s Golf team for Coach Sykes and is credited with successfully organizing the first Women’s Basketball Club at NC State, which ultimately transitioned into the NCAA Team coached by the late Kay Yow.

Ben Blalock

Ben Blalock is Director of Instruction at North Ridge Country Club in Raleigh. He was recognized in Golf Digest as one of the top teachers in North Carolina for 2019-2020. Working with golfers of all ages and ability levels, both individually and in group sessions, he teaches over 1200 lessons and clinics each
year.

Ben analyzes swings using TrackMan and SwingCatalyst 3D Motion Plates on a regular basis using years of experience to formulate improvement plans for the full swing and short game motions.

Recently Ben has been doing research into not just what types of force golfers are producing in their swings but how the magnitude and duration of those applied forces can alter a player’s ability to produce accuracy and power in the golf swing.

I have been with Par4Success for over a year and it has been nothing but an awesome experience. All the research this team has done over the years has been eye opening and very beneficial to me. It has improved my physical health and not too mention my overall golf game.

What is Golf Strength?

These workouts are all designed around the goal of helping you build a base of strength for golf.

With a slightly less intense theme, these workouts tend to be better for seniors or those still getting into golf performance training.  This is an intermediate class and we coach you how to modify if you are a beginner.

What is Everyday Golf Mobility?

These workouts are all designed around the goal of helping you gain more mobility in the specific areas that are necessary for golfers to pain free and successful.

If you can’t physically get to the positions your coach is asking you, you are fighting an uphill battle.

These workouts are a great starting place for seniors or those still getting into golf performance training but ALSO a CRITICAL piece for all golfers to have in their workout plan.

What is GolfFIIT?

GolfFIIT is a higher intensity strength workout for more advanced fitness level golfers.  Be prepared to sweat and be challenged in these workouts.

We do coach you how to modify everything, but we recommend you start with mobility and Golf Strength first.

What is Need for Speed?

These workouts are all designed around one goal…getting you more speed.  With a focus on longer rest intervals after maximal intent movements for short bursts, these workouts will give your nervous system the challenge it needs for you to swing faster.  This is a more advanced class, beginners should start with Mobility and Golf Strength.

Do I Need Specific Equipment?

None..but if you have some, great!

Under the description of every workout there will be a list of suggested equipment to grab if you have it before class starts.

If you don’t have what is suggested, that is not a problem, our coaches will always give you an alternative way to work on the same goal without the equipment.

You can be successful if you have barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, bands or simply your arms and legs with nothing else!

Do You have Different Classes for Adults, Seniors and Juniors?

Every episode of each show, our coaches always tell you how to make the workout harder or easier based on where you are.

If you are just starting out, just getting over surgery or coming back from an injury, start with the mobility classes and then slowly progress into the Golf Strength workouts.  The GolfFIIT and Need for Speed Classes are definitely higher intensity and more advanced.

What is the cost?

We have two levels of membership.

Platinum monthly starts at $19/mo and includes all 4 golf performance shows and gives you a TON of workouts to choose from every day.

Diamond monthly starts at $29/mo and in addition to all the golf performance shows, also includes all of the instructional shows as well!

Do you explain "why" I am doing each exercise?

YES!  This is a huge point of our workouts and we believe a HUGE differentiator for you.  We make it our mission to make sure you know the “why” behind everything we have you do!

What are the different types of classes offered?

Our golf performance classes have different focuses ranging from Mobility, Strength, Power, Speed, Flexibility, Core and anything else you could possibly need as a golfer.

How long are the workouts?

Workouts typically last between 30-40 minutes with ample time for explanation so you understand how and why to do everything we are asking you to do.

Who are the hosts?

All golf performance shows are hosted by the Par4Success Team.  Jordan Steward is your head coach for most classes but be assured you will see appearances from the entire team!

Our Instructional shows are hosted by some of the most accomplished and intelligent coaches in the Raleigh area and we might even have some guest appearances for you along the way!  Scroll down to read more about all your hosts.
