Ted Graham – Physical Therapist
Ted Graham is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and earned his degree from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, CA after earning his BS in Kinesiology at Cal State University East Bay. Ted has joined Par4Success to marry his two passions: improving people’s functional movement and the game of golf. He has expanded his skill set to excel in these two areas with certifications in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA Level 2), Functional Range Release (Upper Extremity), and the Titleist Performance Institute (Medical Professional 2).
Ted firmly believes in the construct of lifelong learning and the importance of continuous improvement in all facets of life, including the way that your body moves. As a youth, he participated in competitive baseball, basketball, soccer and tennis. As an adult, he has found a passion for golf and improving the body’s functional mobility to maximize performance and allow individuals to continue playing for as long as they desire.
Having relocated from California in 2015, Ted enjoys exploring the natural bounty that North Carolina has to offer with his family on the weekends, watching the spectacular weather roll through during the rainy season, and exploring the many magnificent golf courses here in the Carolinas.
Bobby Prengle – Physical Therapist
Bobby is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, who received his degree from nearby Duke University. He grew up in Texas, spending the first 22 years of his life in the Lone Star State, where he received his B.A. in Kinesiology and Psychology from Rice University. After graduating from PT school, he spent a year in Jacksonville, FL at the Brooks Institute of Higher Learning in a year-long residency program to specialize in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and is also Titleist Performance Institute Certified.
Daniel Fleisher – Massage Therapist / Performance Coach
In addition to receiving his B.S. from Radford University, Daniel is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) thru the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Daniel is also a Licensed Massage Therapist, specializing in Active Release Technique (ART), as well as being certified by the Titelist Performance Institute(TPI) for golf movement analysis. Daniel is certified in Postural Restoration Institute(PRI) myokinematic and Postural Respiration techniques and is a STOTT Pilates Mat Instructor.
Daniel enjoys using his experience to educate his clients on the importance of functional movements, soft tissue work, stretching, and muscular strength and endurance. He specializes in injury prevention and sports strength and conditioning for athletes and clients of all abilities. Other interests include spending time with his son while losing to him in video games as well as playing basketball, golf, and tennis.
Scott Knox – Performance Coach
Scott is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, USA Weight Lifting Sports Performance Coach and graduated from UNC-CH in 2010 with a degree in Exercise & Sport Science. He has worked with the basketball programs at UNC – Chapel Hill and North Carolina Central University over the past years and is passionate about improving competitive athletes.
Scott is originally from Kannapolis, NC, but has been a resident of Chapel Hill for the last 10 years including 4 years at UNC-CH. In addition to his work in the collegiate setting, Scott has worked at corporate fitness facilities including IBM and CREE.
Scott’s athletic background includes both recreational and competitive basketball, as well as two international tours with USA Team Handball in Lübeck, Germany in 2009 and Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2012.
DeMarcus Brooks – Performance Coach
DeMarcus is a Certified Sports Performance Coach through NASM with experience of working with Athletes of multiple sports. He has organized and foreseen a Youth Athletic program for Fitness Clubs. He really has a passion for working with athletes and seeing them excel.
DeMarcus is originally from Columbus, MS. He graduated from Mississippi College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fitness and Sports Science. He is also a Certified Personal Trainer through ASFA. He believes in multi-joint movements and functional training while focusing on core. He knows that athletes have the potential to do well through practice and effort.
Frank Muntis – Performance Coach
Frank is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association, an Ignition Speed Systems Certified Coach, and a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certified Nutrition Coach. He has served as the Performance Nutrition Coach for college football players in Ignition APG’s NFL Combine Preparation program and interned for 2 years with the Department of Performance Nutrition at the University of Louisville.
Frank is from Louisville, Kentucky where he earned his masters degree in exercise physiology and his bachelors in health and human performance from the University of Louisville.
In addition to working at Par4Success, he is the owner of Kilos in the Kitchen, a company dedicated to helping others discover the joy of a healthier lifestyle through quality nutrition coaching and education. Frank is the 2017 Kentucky State Champion in Weightlifting in the 105+kg class and is currently striving to qualify for the 2019 American Open.
Alex Cassella – Performance Coach
Alex Cassella is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree from the State University of New York at Fredonia. She is also a certified Coach in USA Weightlifting (USAW) and Precision Nutrition (PN1). In the past 5 years, Alex has interned as a Strength Coach at Syracuse University, Lemoyne College, and most recently Athletic Lab under Dr. Mike Young.
Alex is a former collegiate athlete in the sport of basketball, and a currently competitive powerlifter. She holds multiple state records in NY and NC in the sport of powerlifting. Her competitive background drove her into wanting to be a strength coach and to help other athletes grow and prosper. Through her education and experience with working with multiple different populations, she specializes in coaching strength, power, and nutritional health contributing to performance and overall quality of life.
Teri Stern – Director of Operations
Teri brings many years of experience in finance, education, marketing, and event planning. After a career in the financial sector, Teri focused her efforts on working and volunteering in the public school system. Her diverse set of skills keeps the office running smoothly, allowing the coaches and physical therapists to focus on the athletes.
When Teri isn’t organizing the office, she enjoys exploring her creative side with textile and clothing design. Her favorite outdoor activity is anything near or in the water, especially the beach.
Megan Guard-Pikulik – Customer Experience Specialist
Megan is a native to North Carolina and loves this area! She is a graduate of Meredith College and is passionate about helping people. After spending 15+ years teaching students with extra needs in the public school system, she transitioned to helping support the team here at Par4Success and our client family. Megan is often the first face you’ll see in our office and is responsible for scheduling, client communications and generally helping the office run smoothly. In her personal time, Megan enjoys cheering on her kids’ competitive soccer teams, boating on Jordan Lake, socializing over a glass of wine and traveling with her family.
Lauren Finn – Operations Assistant
Lauren graduated college with a Bachelors of Science in Education. She obtained her teaching license and was a classroom teacher for 5 years. Lauren is able to take her past teaching experience in the classroom and transfer those skills to completing tasks for Par4Success. Lauren helps with the daily tasks and scheduling to keep Par4Success running smoothly. Lauren loves spending time with her family, teaching English online and cooking.
Cissi Denton – Social Media & Marketing Specialist
Cissi brings a creative arm to Par4Success. With a background in digital marketing, project management and stage performance, she works to market the Par4Success brand through business outreach, social media marketing and digital development. She double majored at UNC Chapel Hill, studying dramatic art and communication with a concentration in performance study. Currently, she is pursuing her Masters of Business Administration at East Carolina University.
Outside of work and school, she volunteers for the Distinguished Young Women scholarship program, practices beekeeping, performs violin, and dances salsa.
Caleb Stern – Digital Designer/Operations Assistant
Caleb’s blend of artistic and computer skills enable him to bring high-quality graphic design, photo editing, video editing, and web design to our Par4Success content. He also assists with many of the operational functions to keep the office running quickly and efficiently.
In his spare time, Caleb enjoys digital illustration, computer programming and participating in esports.
Christopher Finn – Founder
Chris is a Licensed Physical Therapist, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist,
Titleist Performance Institute Certified Medical Professional, Certified Precision Nutrition
Coach, and trained to perform Trigger Point Dry Needling in North Carolina.
He has grown Par4Success, which he started as a 100% Golf Fitness, Performance and
Physical Therapy Center, to multiple locations where his team works with golfers of all
abilities and ages to swing faster, play better and hurt less.
Personally, Chris continues to work with Touring Professionals, elite level juniors & amateurs while also consulting with other Fitness & Medical Professionals about starting and/or growing their own businesses and directing the in house golf performance research done at Par4Success.
Chris is honored to be a two time World Golf Fitness Summit Presenter and has contributed to numerous media outlets including Titleist Performance Institute, Junior Golf Magazine and GolfWRX, is published in peer reviewed Sports Health Journal, and enjoys continually challenging the status quo to improving outcomes for all active individuals.
