Christopher Finn – Director of Sport Performance
Chris is the founder of Par4Success and a Licensed Physical Therapist, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Titleist Performance Institute Certified Medical Professional and trained to perform Trigger Point Dry Needling in North Carolina.
Since starting Par4Success in 2011, Chris has and continues to work with Touring Professionals, elite level juniors & amateurs as well as weekend warriors. He has contributed to numerous media outlets, is a published author, a consultant and presents all over the state on topics such as Junior Golf Athletic Development, Injury Prevention and Power/Speed improvement for golfers.
Ted Graham – Physical Therapist
Ted Graham is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and earned his degree from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, CA after earning his BS in Kinesiology at Cal State University East Bay. Ted has joined Par4Success to marry his two passions: improving people’s functional movement and the game of golf. He has expanded his skill set to excel in these two areas with certifications in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA Level 2), Functional Range Release (Upper Extremity), and the Titleist Performance Institute (Medical Professional 2).
Ted firmly believes in the construct of lifelong learning and the importance of continuous improvement in all facets of life, including the way that your body moves. As a youth, he participated in competitive baseball, basketball, soccer and tennis. As an adult, he has found a passion for golf and improving the body’s functional mobility to maximize performance and allow individuals to continue playing for as long as they desire.
Having relocated from California in 2015, Ted enjoys exploring the natural bounty that North Carolina has to offer with his family on the weekends, watching the spectacular weather roll through during the rainy season, and exploring the many magnificent golf courses here in the Carolinas.
Daniel Fleisher – Massage Therapist / Performance Coach
In addition to receiving his B.S. from Radford University, Daniel is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) thru the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Daniel is also a Licensed Massage Therapist, specializing in Active Release Technique (ART), as well as being certified by the Titelist Performance Institute(TPI) for golf movement analysis. Daniel is certified in Postural Restoration Institute(PRI) myokinematic and Postural Respiration techniques and is a STOTT Pilates Mat Instructor.
Daniel enjoys using his experience to educate his clients on the importance of functional movements, soft tissue work, stretching, and muscular strength and endurance. He specializes in injury prevention and sports strength and conditioning for athletes and clients of all abilities. Other interests include spending time with his son while losing to him in video games as well as playing basketball, golf, and tennis.
Scott Knox – Performance Coach
Scott is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, USA Weight Lifting Sports Performance Coach and graduated from UNC-CH in 2010 with a degree in Exercise & Sport Science. He has worked with the basketball programs at UNC – Chapel Hill and North Carolina Central University over the past years and is passionate about improving competitive athletes.
Scott is originally from Kannapolis, NC, but has been a resident of Chapel Hill for the last 10 years including 4 years at UNC-CH. In addition to his work in the collegiate setting, Scott has worked at corporate fitness facilities including IBM and CREE.
Scott’s athletic background includes both recreational and competitive basketball, as well as two international tours with USA Team Handball in Lübeck, Germany in 2009 and Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2012.
Douglas Griswold – Performance Coach
Doug is a Sports Performance Coach and Fitness Instructor with experience working in similar roles for Major League Baseball organizations, Army Special Operations Forces, NCAA teams, and private businesses. He also has coached high school and youth athletic teams and worked in the healthcare and wellness industry.
Doug is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach (RSCC), and Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator (TSAC-F) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He also holds numerous other certifications including the USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach designation (USAW-L1SP).
Nate Dine – Performance Coach
Nate is a Strength and Conditioning Coach that has experience working with athletes in different sports at both the college and professional level. He’s worked in the Strength and Conditioning departments at NC State and Belmont University. In addition, Nate spent 2 years with the Kansas City Royals organization and has recently completed his 4th year with the Milwaukee Brewers organization in similar roles.
Nate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and Master of Sport Administration degree from Belmont University in Nashville, TN. He is a Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and a Certified Personal Trainer through the NSCA. He believes in using a combination of multi-joint, functional, ground based, and mobility exercises to enhance each athlete’s ability to reach their genetic potential while helping to prevent injuries.
DeMarcus Brooks – Performance Coach
DeMarcus is a Certified Sports Performance Coach through NASM with experience of working with Athletes of multiple sports. He has organized and foreseen a Youth Athletic program for Fitness Clubs. He really has a passion for working with athletes and seeing them excel.
DeMarcus is originally from Columbus, MS. He graduated from Mississippi College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fitness and Sports Science. He is also a Certified Personal Trainer through ASFA. He believes in multi-joint movements and functional training while focusing on core. He is knows that athletes have the potential to do well through practice and effort.
Teri Stern – Director of Operations
Teri brings many years of experience in finance, education, marketing, and event planning. After a career in the financial sector, Teri focused her efforts on working and volunteering in the public school system. Her diverse set of skills keeps the office running smoothly, allowing the coaches and physical therapists to focus on the athletes.
When Teri isn’t organizing the office, she enjoys exploring her creative side with textile and clothing design. Her favorite outdoor activity is anything near or in the water, especially the beach.
Andrew Bierl – Social Media & Marketing Specialist
A graduate of the Professional Golf Management program at Campbell University, Andrew specializes in Marketing and Communications. As a past member of the PGA of America, Andrew has 15+ years of experience in the golf industry.
Andrew is originally from Upstate New York but has been in North Carolina since 2005. Outside of the office, Andrew enjoys playing in North Carolina Amateur golf tournaments, competing in Spartan Races, and running half marathons.
Lauren Finn – Administrative Assistant
Lauren graduated college with a Bachelors of Science in Education. She obtained her teaching license and was a classroom teacher for 5 years. Lauren is able to take her past teaching experience in the classroom and transfer those skills to completing tasks for Par4Success. Lauren helps with the daily tasks and scheduling to keep Par4Success running smoothly. Lauren loves spending time with her family, teaching English online and cooking.
Caleb Stern – Digital Designer/Operations Assistant
Caleb’s blend of artistic and computer skills enable him to bring high quality graphic design, photo editing, video editing, and web design to our Par4Success content. He also assists with many of the operational functions to keep the office running quickly and efficiently.
In his spare time, Caleb enjoys digital illustration, computer programming and participating in esports.
